Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched an assessment of recycled polyethylene terephthalate clear flakes premium grade, PVC 30 ppm, on an FOB India basis, effective April 3, 2023.

The new daily assessment is based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT). It is published in $/mt and follows the Singapore publishing schedule.
The assessment reflects the product with the following parameters:
Volume: 20-200 mt
Quality: PVC 30 ppm, IV 0.72-0.78, 100% clear in color. This grade is mainly used for bottle-grade applications.
Laycan: Loading 10-21 days forward from the date of publication.
Location basis: FOB India, basis Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Hazira. Platts also takes into consideration pricing information from other ports in India, subject to normalization to West India ports.
Payment terms: Direct debit
Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized to the standard.
Symbol: ARINA00 (daily), ARINA04 (Weekly), ARINAP03 (Monthly average)
The assessment is published alongside Platts existing recycled assessments on page 0409 and in the Polymerscan, Asia Petrochemical scan as well as on the Platts real-time petrochemical service, Platts Market Center, and Platts Dimensions Pro.
