HIGHLIGHTS
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch weekly propylene glycols spot assessments for Northwest Europe, effective April 25, 2025.
Platts will assess Industrial Grade Monopropylene Glycol (MPGi), US Pharmaceutical/European Pharmaceutical Grade Monopropylene Glycol (USP) and Dipropylene Glycol F (DPG F) on an FCA Northwest Europe basis.
The assessments were first proposed in a subscriber note published Feb. 21 and available here(opens in a new tab).
The assessments will be based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 16:30 UK time on Fridays, including firm bids and offers, trades and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process.

The weekly assessments will be published on Fridays, alongside a weekly commentary, which forms part of the existing propylene oxide commentary and will appear on Platts Connect and in Platts Olefinscan.
Pricing information for materials with other specifications and terms deviating from the abovementioned parameters may be normalized accordingly.
