Platts invites feedback on FOB Vancouver specifications

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to invite feedback on its FOB Vancouver (CTVCA00) specifications, specifically whether to increase the calorific value from 5,000 kcal/kg NAR to 6,000 kcal/kg NAR.

Full specifications are described in the methodology guide posted online at https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/PlattsContent/_assets/_files/en/our-methodology/methodology-specifications/global_coal.pdf

Platts regularly assesses the relevance of methodologies through continuous contact with market participants. Feedback on methodologies is always welcomed by Platts.

Please send all comments, feedback, and questions to coal@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com by March 31. For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing. Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request.
