Platts suspends publication of Asia POME FOB Indonesia assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights has suspended publication of its Asia POME FOB Indonesia assessment, effective Feb. 6.

The Indonesian Ministry of Trade Jan. 7 announced a restriction on exports of palm oil derived products including palm oil mill effluent (POME).

Based on the announcement and Platts observation of the POME market, Platts will not publish the following assessment from February 6, until further notice:

Platts will continue to review the situation as it develops and publish any bids, offers, trades or indicative market values for the assessments as heards.
