Platts to change the specifications of certain metallurgical coke assessments

Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts will change the specifications of certain met coke FOB China, CFR India, and domestic Chinese assessments, effective Feb. 15, 2022. The changes in the specifications aim to better reflect the specifications of metallurgical coke that have been actively traded in the spot market in recent years.

The new specifications of the metallurgical coke assessments are:
