Dave Ernsberger is President of S&P Global Energy and a member of S&P Global’s Executive Leadership Team.
Most recently, Mr. Ernsberger was Head of Market Reporting and Trading Solutions at S&P Global Energy. In that role, he was responsible for managing Platts commodity price benchmarks worldwide, including market reporting, news coverage and exchange relationships, from well-established markets like oil and gas through to emerging market environments like new Energy Transition commodities and recycled materials.
Prior to that, Mr. Ernsberger served in a variety of roles at Platts, including Head of Oil Content; Editorial Director for Asia (based in Singapore), and Houston Bureau Chief. He joined Platts in 1996 as a metals reporter in London, and launched coverage of Europe’s then-deregulating gas and electricity markets in 1999.
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Ernsberger holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy and politics from Warwick University, England, and a master's degree in international relations from Southampton University, England.

Her areas of expertise include refining, fuel marketing, downstream policy and competitive environment, market entry studies, and strategic analysis. Ina also works on consulting engagements in Europe and Africa, focusing on market entry and strategy analysis. She joined IHS Markit(now part of S&P Global) in 2014 and is based in the Paris office. Prior to joining S&P Global, Ina coordinated the Energy & Sustainability Program of the Aspen Institute Romania and worked for the Council of Europe and the British Embassy in Bucharest, Romania.
She holds a master's degree in international public policy from the University College London, United Kingdom, and bachelor's degrees in engineering and political science. Ina is fluent in English, French, German, and Romanian.

Sakshi Jalan joined S&P Global Energy in 2023 and works as an Associate Editor in the Atlantic LNG pricing team. She has over three years’ experience in research and teaching, covering a variety of topics, focusing on economic policies. Sakshi holds a master’s degree in Economics from University of Warwick.

Laurent is a leading authority on the gas industry in Europe and Eurasia, with a special focus on gas supply and transportation and a regional focus on the Caspian Sea region, southeastern Europe, Turkey, Ukraine and the Eastern Mediterranean. He has published client research on topics including EU gas regulation, Russian-Ukrainian gas arbitration, and the gas sectors in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. He has worked for more than two decades advising international oil and gas companies and institutional investors on energy investment in Eurasia, and has led assignments in which S&P Global served as Lenders' Market Consultant in support of project financings on numerous occasions. Laurent first joined CERA (a predecessor company of S&P Global) in 1991 and led CERA's Caspian Energy practice from 1997 to 2003. Laurent co-managed the Caspian Development Corporation project carried out for the World Bank and European Commission (DG Energy) during the period 2009-2011. From 2006 to 2008, Laurent was based in Baku, Azerbaijan as Director of Business Development and head of strategy for a company in the oil transportation sector.
A Russian speaker, Laurent holds a B.A. with honors in Russian and Soviet Studies from Harvard University (Cambridge, USA), and he passed comprehensive examinations in the Ph.D. program in Political Science at Columbia University (New York, USA).

Karim is a Director in the Energy and Natural Resources group at S&P Global Energy. He leads the Energy Advisory Service, which provides energy research tailored to financial institutions investing in the energy and commodity space. He has extensive expertise analyzing short-term global crude oil and refined product markets, managing global short-term liquids supply/demand balances, and forecasting short-term trends in global oil fundamentals, prices, differentials, and refining margins. He also specializes in the relationship between physical and paper commodity markets. Karim has also led various consulting engagements across the midstream and downstream value chain, including asset acquisition due diligence projects, global crude and product trade flow modeling, and pricing analyses. Prior to joining S&P Global (now part of S&P Global) in 2013, Karim worked in the Financial Advisory practice at PFC Energy.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the American University of Beirut and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies

Bruno Brunetti has led efforts to expand Platts' power analysis across the globe and deepen the focus on renewables, technology and policy. Bruno spent over 15 years at PIRA Energy Group, now part of S&P Global Platts, where he launched and managed the PIRA’s European Electricity Service, focused on European power generation, demand, cross-border trading, and prices. He previously held roles at Caminus and Cedigaz.

Lead Analyst, Tanker Shipping and Alternative Fuels
Fotios focuses on the oil tanker freight markets, seaborne trade flows of crude oil and clean petroleum products and their impacts on the shipping cycles and investors' decisions, drawing from his experience in commercial shipping and energy sectors.
Previously, he gained experience in using the latest technology to provide insights to the shipping industry and to associated finance and insurance providers. As head of research for Affinity Shipping and as shipping analyst for Maritime Strategies International, he managed big shipping data, developed shipping cycle econometric models, and assisted with advisory projects and valuations for major international shipping banks and financial providers. Fotios regularly attends international shipping industry conferences and has professional experience in operational research and corporate presentations. Sectors covered include oil tankers, gas carriers, and offshore sectors.
Fotios holds a Master of Science in shipping, trade, and finance from Bayes (former Cass) Business School, City University of London, United Kingdom, an LLB from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business.
