Alan Fitzpatrick is Head of ESG Solutions for the UK and Ireland at S&P Global Horizons, a group within S&P Global that brings together ESG and Climate benchmarking, analytics, evaluations, and indices. With over 12 years of experience within the financial services industry, Alan partners with investors in the development and execution of ESG/Responsible Investment policies and strategies that focus on a more sustainable and inclusive form of capitalism.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Alan worked as a Senior Responsible Investment Product Specialist for BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM) where he was responsible for overseeing the global delivery and commercial growth of its stewardship business. Before BMO GAM, Alan spent several years at Federated Hermes working with institutional investors in various client development roles. Alan holds a MSc in Management with Business Strategy and the Environment from Birkbeck, University of London, and earned a BA in Marketing. Alan is also a qualified financial and retirement planning advisor having been awarded professional Diplomas in Financial Advice and Retirement Planning.
