Platts launches new ICE HPL-New Minden Hub location and discontinues ICE HPL, East Texas Pool

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched a new ICE HPL-New Minden Hub daily and monthly natural gas index effective trade date Oct. 1 for flow date Oct. 2 in the daily market, and trade date Oct. 26 for Day 1 of November bidweek in the monthly market.

This launch aligns Platts with the Intercontinental Exchange's recent announcement to add the New Minden Hub trading location.

The new point is as follows:

Platts has discontinued ICE HPL, East Texas Pool daily and monthly natural gas index, effective trade date Oct. 1 for flow date Oct. 2 in the daily market, and for trade date Oct. 26 for Day 1 of November bidweek in the monthly market.
