Platts launches gasoline, ULSD, jet fuel price assessments for Dallas, Denver
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched new assessments for Denver and Dallas gasoline, ultra-low sulfur diesel and jet fuel effective March 12, 2026.
The launch comes in response to increasing interest for such assessments to provide greater price transparency in growing and emerging refined products markets.
Denver and Dallas gasoline
Denver RBOB and premium RBOB are assessed on an FOB basis considering bids, offers, trades and other market information, including RVP adjustments and relevant pipeline tariffs from Group 3 in Oklahoma to Denver.
The Denver assessments reflect trades of a minimum 5,000 barrels in Denver for delivery the next business day. The RBOB assessment reflects a minimum 85 octane and the premium RBOB assessment a minimum 88.5 octane, each after blending with 10% denatured fuel ethanol.
The assessments are published daily as outright prices and differentials to NYMEX futures in cents/gallon. Platts also publishes spreads to USGC prompt pipeline and Group 3 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Similarly, Dallas RBOB and premium RBOB are assessed on an FOB basis considering bids, offers, trades and other market information, including RVP adjustments and relevant pipeline tariffs from the US Gulf Coast to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Dallas assessments reflect trades of a minimum 5,000 barrels in Dallas-Fort Worth five to 15 days forward from the date of publication. The RBOB assessment reflects a minimum 87 octane, and the premium RBOB assessment a minimum 93 octane, each after blending with 10% denatured fuel ethanol.
The assessments are published daily as outright prices and differentials to NYMEX futures in cents/gal. Platts also publishes spreads to USGC prompt pipeline.

Jet fuel and ULSD
Denver jet fuel and ULSD are assessed on an FOB basis considering bids, offers, trades and other market information, including relevant pipeline tariffs from Group 3 in Oklahoma to Denver.
The new Denver assessments reflect trades of a minimum 5,000 barrels in Denver for delivery the next business day.
Similarly, Dallas jet fuel and ULSD are assessed on an FOB basis considering bids, offers, trades and other market information, including relevant pipeline tariffs from the USGC to Dallas-Fort Worth.
The new Dallas assessments reflect trades of a minimum of 5,000 barrels in Dallas five to 15 days forward from the date of publication.
The assessments are published daily as outright prices and differentials to NYMEX futures in cents/gal. Platts also publishes spreads to USGC prompt pipeline for Dallas assessments and to Group 3 for Denver assessments.
