S&P Global Platts has launched a daily delivered bunkers assessment for 0.1% sulfur fuel oil at St Petersburg, Russia, effective February 1, 2019.
The new assessment for St Petersburg reflects an RMD 80 specification, including a maximum sulfur content of 0.1%.
The launch follows an announcement by Platts on November 23, 2018 that it would begin publishing this assessment from February 1, 2019. The announcement can be viewed at:

The use of 0.1% sulfur ULSFO at St Petersburg has steadily grown since the maximum sulfur content allowed to be burnt on ships was reduced to 0.1% in the Baltic and NWE ECA zone in January 2015.
