Platts clarifies publishing of floating price, derivatives information in APAC LNG MOC

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights is clarifying the publication of JKM Balance-month Next Day (Balmo-ND) and Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) related floating physical information, as well as JKM Balmo-ND derivatives information reported during the Asia-Pacific LNG Market on Close assessment process.

Platts only considers for assessment, and therefore publishes, JKM Balmo-ND and TTF related floating physical bids, offers and trades on days when Singapore timestamped assessments for the related derivative instruments are published.

In addition, Platts only considers for assessment, and therefore publishes daily JKM Balmo-ND derivative bids, offers and trades on days when the Singapore timestamped derivative assessment is published.

The Balmo-ND derivative assessment is published from the first publication day of the new JKM pricing month to the third last business days before the end of the pricing month.

Platts continues to prioritize physical floating price bids, offers and trades based on the relative transparency of derivative instruments and their adherence to timing and incrementability criteria.
