Platts to update Asia SAF and RD cost of production price operating costs

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will update the fixed, capital and operating costs for the Asia Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Renewable Diesel cost of production prices, on Jan. 2, 2025.

As per the methodology, where Platts states that the fixed costs will be reviewed on at least an annual basis, Platts will adjust the fixed, capital and operating costs, taking into account inflation reported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The daily prices impacted are:

RD Cost of Production (UCO) North Asia $/mt HVMAC00

RD Cost of Production (UCO) North Asia $/bbl HVMAD00

SAF (PFAD) Southeast Asia $/mt ASMAA00

SAF (PFAD) Southeast Asia $/bbl ASMAB00

SAF (UCO) North Asia $/mt ASMAC00

SAF (UCO) North Asia $/bbl ASMAD00
