Platts to amend dirty tanker basket flat rates for several Med, West African VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax assessments Jan. 3

Following a Worldscale Association update for the Ceyhan terminal at the port of Botas and Port of Djeno, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in the $/mt calculations for its Mediterranean-Mediterranean 135kt, Mediterranean-UKC 135kt, Mediterranean-USGC 135kt, Mediterranean-East Coast Canada 80kt, Mediterranean-USGC 80kt, Mediterranean-UKC 80kt, Ceyhan-Mediterranean 80kt, West Africa-Far East 260,000 mt and West Africa-Far East 130,000 mt dirty tanker assessments, effective Jan. 3, 2023.

Following this amendment, the new average basket rates for the following assessments will be:

Dirty Med-Med 135kt: $7.22/mt

Dirty Med-UKC 135kt: $12.32/mt

Dirty Med-USGC 135kt: $28.55/mt

Dirty Med-E Can 80kt: $18.51/mt

Dirty Med-USGC 80kt: $28.55/mt

Dirty Med-UKC 80kt: $12.32/mt

Dirty Ceyhan-Med 80kt: $10.42/mt

Dirty West Africa-Far East 260kt: $39.33/mt

Dirty West Africa-Far East 130kt: $39.33/mt
