SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch new 0.1% sulfur marine gasoil assessment at Algoa Bay

Following an extended period of research, S&P Global Platts will begin publishing daily delivered bunkers assessments for 0.1% marine gasoil at Algoa Bay, South Africa, starting February 1, 2019.

The new assessment for Algoa Bay will reflect a DMA, ISO 8217:2010 specification with a maximum sulfur content of 0.1%.

This follows a proposal to launch an Algoa Bay MGO assessment, published November 19, for which the link can be found here:
