In line with changing practices in the Iranian crude oil market, S&P Global Platts is discontinuing republication of Official Selling Prices (OSPs) for Iranian crude loading FOB from Sidi Kerir immediately.
This follows receipt of communication from NIOC that the company has now discontinued the publication of crude oil OSPs loading FOB Sidi Kerir entirely.
Platts currently republishes OSPs for three Iranian crude oil grades, on both a differential and outright price basis. These are:
Grade Name Spread Outright Iran Heavy OSP Sidi Kerir AAUCI00 AAVNJ00 Iran Light OSP Sidi Kerir AAUCK00 AAVNI00 Forozan OSP Sidi Kerir AAUCG00 AAVNK00
These prices are not Platts assessments, but are produced by NIOC and republished by Platts to provide additional information to the market.
Platts will continue to republish official selling prices for Iranian crude loading FOB Kharg Island for delivery in both the Mediterranean and Northwest Europe.
The Platts spot price assessments of Iranian cargoes loading FOB Sidi Kerir will also be discontinued as part of this change in a separate note available here: http://plts.co/MD5h30mYG6c Please send any feedback or questions to europe_crude@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.
For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing.
