FSU "SA Crystal" remains approved loading point in Singapore fuel oil cargo, ex-wharf bunker MOC following ownership and name change

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has reviewed the vessel "SA Crystal" following a change in ownership and name. The vessel will remain an approved loading point in its Singapore Market on Close assessment process for fuel oil cargo and Singapore ex-wharf bunker.

SA Crystal (IMO 9182318) was formerly known as Crystal Star, and was operated by Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd. The vessel is currently operated by Southern Ace Marine Sdn. Bhd. as a floating storage unit at Tanjung Pelapas, within Johor Bahru Port Limits in southern Malaysia's Johor state.

There are currently nine FSUs approved as additional loading points in the FOB Straits fuel oil cargo, ex-wharf marine fuel 0.5% and ex-wharf 380 CST HSFO bunker MOC process. The standards applicable to approved FSUs require that sellers specifically name the vessel used as a loading point at the time of submitting offers to Platts for publishing.

Any offer of oil from vessels accredited for the FOB Straits fuel oil cargo, ex-wharf marine fuel 0.5% and ex-wharf 380 CST HSFO bunker MOC process, would be on an FOB FSU basis.

Sellers cannot unilaterally nominate an approved vessel as a loading point in FOB Straits trades.
