Platts to move Latin American petrochemical assessments to Brazilian holiday schedule

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will move all its Latin American petrochemical assessments to the Brazilian holiday publishing schedule from the US holiday publishing schedule, beginning 2023.

Weekly assessments falling on Brazilian public holidays, except for the Carnival and Ash holidays, would be published one day in advance. For the Carnival and Ash holidays, Platts will not publish any Latin American weekly polymer assessments in that week.

For 2023, weekly assessments for Jan. 25, April 21, and Nov. 15 would be published one day in advance on Jan. 24, April 20, and Nov. 14, respectively. For the Carnival and Ash Wednesday holidays on Feb. 20-22, there would be no publication of Latin American weekly polymer assessments. Latin American weekly polymer assessments would resume the following week on March 1.
