Platts confirms daily, monthly North American natural gas trading calendar for Christmas, New Year’s Day

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will not change the end-of-year daily and monthly trading calendar for North American natural gas.

For daily indices, trade date Dec. 24, 2025, will be for flow dates Thursday, Dec. 25, through Monday, Dec. 29. Gas Daily and CGPR daily prices will not be published on Dec. 24-25, resuming on Monday, Dec. 29, in observance of the Christmas Holiday.

Similarly, trade date Dec. 31, 2025, will be for flow dates Thursday, Jan. 1, through Monday, Jan. 5. Gas Daily and CGPR daily prices will not be published on Jan. 1-2, resuming on Monday, Jan. 5, in observance of the New Year holiday.

For monthly indices, the January 2026 bidweek trading days will be Dec. 23-24 and Dec. 29. Final monthly indices and the monthly Canadian Gas Price Reporter (CGPR) will be published on Jan. 5.
