New FOB Brazil toluene, isomer MX assessments

Platts will introduce weekly Latin American aromatics price assessments for toluene and mixed xylenes on January 7, 2011.

The assessments will be basis FOB Brazil in $/mt reflecting a minimum parcel sizes of 3,000 mt.

Toluene assessments reflect product that conforms to the latest edition of ASTM D841 (nitration grade) specifications. Mixed xylenes assessment reflects product that conforms to the latest edition of ASTM D5211 (isomer grade) specifications. Assessments will appear in the Platts Europe & Americas Petrochemical Scan as well as Platts Petrochemical Alert PCA327.
