LNG
November 27, 2025
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, would like to clarify the standard nomination guidelines for prompt delivery cargoes, i.e., cargoes delivered less than 30 days from date of publication in the Asia LNG physical Platts Market on Close assessment process, effective Nov. 27, 2025.
For prompt delivery cargoes, Platts will consider for publication only JKM bids, offers and trades that adhere to the following established editorial guidelines for nominations of the final one-day delivery window, final discharge country, specific volume from a volume range, final load port and ship.
This is in line with Platts observations of standard industry practice that all nominations, except for final delivery port within the same country, are final for bids and offers of prompt delivery cargoes.
Platts will also consider for publication bid or offer terms that provide the counterparty greater flexibility of nomination, such as a volume range for bids or a three-day delivery window for offers.
| Specifications | Standard | Prompt (delivery within 30 days from publication) |
| Delivery window | Three days long, with the buyer to narrow to a one-day delivery window 30 days before the first day of the initial delivery window. | Buyers must state a one-day delivery window in bids. |
