SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Expiry of December 2013 EUA, CER price assessments

Due to the routine expiry of December 2013 EU Allowances and Certified Emission Reductions over-the-counter forward contracts on December 2, those contract assessments will be removed from European Power Daily as of the December 3 dated issue. Platts will also extend its forward price curves to include price assessments for December 2016 delivery EUAs (EADSP16) and for December 2016 delivery CERs (CERDE16) on December 2. The assessments will be based on the same market-on-close methodology that is applied for the existing suite of EUA and CER assessments. The assessments are published in Platts European Power Daily, on Platts European Power Alert and in Platts Market Data.
