Platts to discontinue Coated Pre-Painted EXW Turkey steel assessment

S&P Global Platts will discontinue the Coated Pre-Painted 9002 EXW Turkey steel assessment from January 1, 2020 on the back of dwindling liquidity and a limited amount of participants taking part in the assessment process.

The move will follow a period of market consultation started October 30, 2019, when Platts invited market participants to submit feedback on the proposal by November 15.

Platts received no negative market feedback to the proposal.

The assessment is published on a monthly basis and can be found in Steel Business Briefing under the following code and name: SB01188, Coated Pre-Painted 9002 Coil EXW Turkey assessment
