Platts proposes launch of DAP CFR Southeast Asia assessment Feb. 5

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch Diammonium Phosphate CFR Thailand assessment, effective Feb. 5, 2026. This assessment would further improve transparency in the DAP market in Southeast Asia.

The assessment would be published as a single "close" value, with a standardized range of $1/mt above (high) and below (low). Specifications for the proposed assessment are as follows:

Assessment Name: Diammonium Phosphate CFR SE Asia

Bulk Quality: Duty-free dark brown DAP with nitrogen content of 18%, a standard P205 content of 46%, and a maximum moisture content of 2.5%.

Quantity: 6,000 mt - 8,000 mt

Location: CFR Ko Sichang Port, Thailand

Timing: Delivery 14-45 days forward

Frequency: Weekly, every Thursday

Unit of assessment: $/mt

Timestamp: 16:30 Penang close, published according to the Penang publishing calendar

Information on other relevant markets - including DAP of different colours, qualities, sizes and locations - would be considered and normalized, where necessary, to align with the standard specifications listed above.
