Platts to launch weekly European, US liquid epoxy resin price assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch new duty delivered paid Northwest Europe and US Gulf Coast liquid epoxy resins price assessments, effective Dec. 17.

The assessments will complement Platts existing coverage of the upstream acetone, phenol and bisphenol-A markets and were first proposed in a subscriber note available here: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/102524-platts-proposes-to-launch-weekly-european-us-liquid-epoxy-resin-price-assessments

Pricing information with terms, locations and specifications different from the above standard may be considered for assessment purposes, subject to normalization.

The new assessments will be published on a weekly basis every Tuesday, in line with regional publication schedules and based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the Market on Close assessment process at 16:30 London time and 13:30 CT, respectively.

The weekly assessment will appear in Solventswire and on Platts Connect.

Simultaneously, Platts will also start assessing epoxy resin in Asia, first proposed in a subscriber note available here: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/102424-platts-proposes-to-launch-weekly-fob-northeast-asia-liquid-epoxy-resin-spot-assessment-dec-17.
