Platts to publish dirty tanker VLCC USGC-UKC assessment rationale, BOTs from Nov 17

In response to market developments, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will publish an assessment rationale with exclusions and bids/offers/trades information for the VLCC 270kt US Gulf Coast-UK Continent dirty tanker route, effective Nov. 17, 2023.

The rationale and BOTs apply to the market data code DTGCB00.

The Platts VLCC 270kt USGC-UKC dirty tanker assessment has been listed by the Intercontinental Exchange for settling freight futures contracts or Forward Freight Agreements.

The VLCC 270kt USGC-UKC dirty tanker assessment rationale and BOTs information will appear in the Dirty Tankerwire publication and on the fixed pages PGT 1991, SHP 2491 and PGT 1992, SHP2492, respectively.
