Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched weekly acrylic staple fiber spot price assessments on a DAP Turkey and CIF India basis, effective Nov. 14.
A proposal to assess these markets was originally published on Sept. 27 and can be found here. The subsequent decision to assess these markets was published Oct. 16 and can be found here.

Price information for the material with other terms and specifications may be normalized.
The DAP Turkey and CIF India assessments take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process on Thursdays at 16:30 London and Singapore time, respectively. The assessments follow the London and India publishing calendars, respectively.
The new assessments are accompanied by weekly commentaries, published on Thursday. The new assessments will be published in the Platts Fiber Marketscan and on Platts Connect.
