Platts to discontinue Brazil, Chile, and Vietnam I-RECs Biomass assessments Jan 22, 2026
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue its Biomass I-REC assessments for Brazil, Chile, and Vietnam, effective Jan. 22, 2026.
Platts initially proposed the discontinuation on Oct. 27, in a subscriber note available here.
Platts will discontinue these assessments due to low issuance combined with low liquidity for Biomass technology certificates in these countries.
The symbols to be discontinued are as follows:
