SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to discontinue South Europe import rebar assessment Feb 6

S&P Global Platts is proposing to discontinue the monthly import rebar assessment published on a CIF South European port basis, effective February 6, 2020, on the back of dwindling liquidity and a limited amount of participants taking part in the assessment process.

The assessment is published in the Steel Business Briefing, on the fixed page PMA 1315 of the Platts real-time Alert, in the Platts Market Center, and in the Platts price database under the following code and name: SB01197, Rebar Europe Imp CIF S Euro Port Mthly assessment
