Platts to amend dirty tanker basket flat rates for Mediterranean Suezmax, Aframax assessments Dec. 1

Following a Worldscale Association update for the Ceyhan terminal at the port of Botas, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in the $/mt calculations for its Mediterranean-Mediterranean 135kt, Mediterranean-UKC 135kt, Mediterranean-USGC 135kt, Mediterranean-East Coast Canada 80kt, Mediterranean-USGC 80kt, Mediterranean-UKC 80kt and Ceyhan-Mediterranean 80kt dirty tanker freight assessments, effective Dec. 1.

Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments will be:

Dirty Med-Med 135kt: $5.98/mt

Dirty Med-UKC 135kt: $10.11/mt

Dirty Med-USGC 135kt: $23.36/mt

Dirty Med-E Can 80kt: $15.10/mt

Dirty Med-USGC 80kt: $23.36/mt

Dirty Med-UKC 80kt: $10.11/mt

Dirty Ceyhan-Med 80kt: $8.90/mt
