S&P Global Platts proposes to change the incoterm of its European SHG Zinc monthly assessment from in-warehouse (IW) to free-carrier (FCA) Rotterdam.
Platts proposes to make this change effective from January 2, 2019.
The proposal is made on the back of a shift in market dynamics toward higher liquidity on an FCA basis reported transactions.
Platts is seeking feedback on the proposal by November 23.
