Platts to publish $/mt conversions for daily lithium, cobalt DDP China assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will publish US dollar conversions for its daily lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, and cobalt sulfate DDP China spot price assessments, effective Nov. 18.

The $/mt conversions will mirror the specifications of Platts existing lithium and cobalt DDP China spot assessments in Yuan/mt and will follow the Singapore publishing schedule.

Platts lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and cobalt sulfate DDP China assessments and symbols are as follows:

The calculations will be published in the Platts price database under the symbols listed above. The first monthly average calculations will reflect the average of daily conversions published throughout December.
