Platts will consider price information for Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia for the CFR SE Asia assessment. Platts understands that the prices are currently consistent across the key ports in these countries, such as Merak (Indonesia); Vungtao, Haiphong and Dongnai (Vietnam); Bangkok (Thailand); and Port Klang and Pasir Gudang (Malaysia). In the event of pricing deviation observed among the different regions, Platts will normalize to basis Indonesia.
The assessments, commentary and rationale will be published on Platts Connect and Solventswire. The weekly assessments will take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time on Tuesdays and follow the Singapore holiday calendar.
