Platts backfills Northwest European SAF and HVO ex-refinery prices

S&P Global Platts has backfilled price data to March 3, 2020, for the Northwest European sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) valuations launched on Aug. 17, 2020.

The backfill will occur on Oct. 26, 2020.

The SAF and HVO valuations reflect an ex-refinery price based on relevant costs and are published under the Platts symbols BJNWA00 and HVNWA00 respectively in oil publications for $/mt and BJNWD00 and HVNWD00 in agriculture publications for $/mt; BJNWB00 and HVNWB00 in oil publications for $/b and BJNWE00 and HVNWE00 in agricultural publications for $/b; and BJNWC00 and HVNWC00 for oil publications in Eur/mt and BJNWF00 and HVNWF00 in agriculture publications for Eur/mt.

The prices are published on Platts Global Alert, Platts Biofuels Alert, and in European Marketscan, US Marketscan, APAG Marketscan, Oilgram Price Report and Biofuelscan.
