SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts adds assessments, daily tender tables to Latin American Wire

S&P Global Platts updated the Latin American Wire effective October 22 to make a number of enhancements to the publication, notably the additions of key US Gulf Coast assessments for Colonial Pipeline distillate and light ends benchmarks and other assessments such as WTI MEH crude, Gulf Coast LPGs and waterborne naphtha.

Other changes include adding an effective date for Petrobras bunker postings and publishing product and crude tender tables on a daily basis.

These changes better reflect how trade has evolved in Latin America, increasingly pricing against the more liquid Gulf Coast pipeline benchmarks. USGC waterborne product assessments continue to be published, reflecting the fixed cost of moving barrels from pipeline to barge or cargo and also flexible market costs such as dock space and barrel availability.
