Subscriber Note: Platts updates sugar assessments on launch of new agriculture alert

Following the launch of Platts Agriculture Alert (PAA) on October 1, Platts has reviewed and is updating missing data across a range of sugar and futures assessments. The updated assessments include front-month LIFFE Number 5 and New York 11 Sugar Futures for February 4, 2014, Brazil Hydrous assessments for February 3, 2014, and Zafranet Refined and Zafranet Estandar assessments for November 11, 2013. A full list of the affected prices are listed below. These assessments appear in the Kingsman Daily Sugar Report and the Platts price assessment database. Platts Agriculture Alert is a real-time news, data and benchmark price service for the global agriculture markets. It supplements Platts' daily, weekly and monthly agriculture offerings and augments Platts' existing suite of real-time services aiding the biofuels, coal, electric power, metals, natural gas, oil, petrochemicals and shipping sectors.
