S&P Global Platts would like to clarify its publishing guidelines around auto-matching in the Asian paraxylene eWindow Market on Close (MOC) assessment process. In case of an offer and bid for the same instrument, differentiated only by manually-input terms and conditions, Platts would like to remind participants that the bid/offer with the additional terms and conditions will be removed from the eWindow communication tool as the difference between the bid and offer reduces, but continue to be published manually, to avoid an automatic matching of the bid and the offer. Market participants wishing to trade the manually published bid/offer can do so by communicating their interest to the editor. Platts also wishes to remind the market that participants wishing to trade the depth in an instrument where the bids or the offers are differentiated only by additional terms and conditions, should do so manually via the editor. Please send any comments or questions to petchems@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.
For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing. Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request.
