Platts proposes to launch weekly Asian di-ethylene glycol, tri-ethylene glycol ex-tank China domestic assessments Dec 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to launch Asian di-ethylene glycol (DEG) and tri-ethylene glycol (TEG) ex-tank China domestic assessments, effective Dec. 1, 2023.

The proposed assessments will be published in Yuan/mt on a weekly basis, based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) on Friday.

The proposed DEG and TEG assessments will reflect products with the following specifications:

DEG

Laycan: Cargoes loading 0-10 days forward

Location: Nantong, Taicang, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang

Basis: Ex-tank Cargo size: 100-500 mt

Credit terms: L/C at sight

Quality: Minimum purity of 99%

UoM: Yuan/mt

TEG

Laycan: Cargoes loading 0-10 days forward

Location: Nantong, Taicang, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang

Basis: Ex-tank

Cargo size: 20-100 mt

Credit terms: L/C at sight

Quality: Minimum purity of 99%

UoM: Yuan/mt

Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized to the proposed standards.
