Platts will add Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam High GHG Savings eWindow instrument

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch eWindow instruments for the Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam High GHG Savings Premium (AASNR00) and the Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam High GHG Savings (AGSSQ00) assessments, effective Oct. 15, 2025.

Participants in the Platts Market on Close assessment process will be able to submit bids and offers for publication either directly through the eWindow communication tool or through an editor who would then publish the bids and offers using the software. Participants will be able to submit bids and offers as a differential to the Platts Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam benchmark assessment (AAYDT00) or as an outright price in Eur/cu m. Bids and offers may be published in multiples of 1,000 mt, up to a maximum of 5,000 mt.

The new instruments will appear on eWindow as follows:

• Platts T2 Ethanol 9.4g Flat Price FOB Rdam
• Platts T2 Ethanol 9.4g Premium FOB Rdam

Platts has established clearly defined timing and increment guidelines that apply when publishing bids and offers in the MOC in order to ensure an orderly and transparent price assessment process.

Participants will be allowed to improve flat price bids and offers by a minimum of 25 euro cent and a maximum of 1 Euro per 20 seconds, or per one minute if done via an editor. Participants will be allowed to improve bids and offers as a differential to Platts Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam by a minimum 25 euro cent and a maximum 50 euro cent per 20 seconds, or per one minute if done via an editor.

The assessments reflect a strip laycan of three to 15 days forward (Monday to Tuesday) or five to 15 days forward (Wednesday to Friday). Furthermore, the Nabisy Proof of Sustainability (PoS) documentation will be a standard requirement for all Ethanol T2 High GHG Savings FOB Rotterdam barge indications in the Platts MOC assessment process.

Platts launched the Ethanol T2 High GHG Savings assessment (AGSSQ00) on Oct. 6.
