SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts extends feedback period for proposal to discontinue CIF Netherlands wheat and corn assessments

Platts is extending the feedback period for a proposal to discontinue the CIF Netherlands feed wheat and CIF Netherlands feed corn assessments.

The original proposal published September 14 put forward a deadline for feedback of September 26 and for the assessments to be discontinued effective December 5. The new proposal extends the deadline for feedback to October 17 and sets out a timetable for assessments to be discontinued effective January 3, 2017.

Participation in the deep sea market for imported wheat and corn to the Netherlands, reflected in Platts assessments WCINT00 and WCINU00, has become highly consolidated.

The following assessments would be discontinued:
