Platts to amend dirty tanker basket flat rate for North Sea Aframax assessments Nov 1

Following a Worldscale Association update for the port of Flotta, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the Worldscale flat rate basket used in the $/mt calculations for its UKC-UKC 80kt dirty tanker assessments, effective Nov. 1.

Following this amendment, the new average flat rates for the following assessments will be:

Dirty UKC-UKC 80kt: $10.20/mt
