Platts proposes changing Renewable Capture Price Indices market commentary publication from daily to weekly

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to publish its Renewable Capture Price Indices market commentary weekly, instead of daily.

Platts will continue to publish its Renewable Capture Price Indices in five countries on a daily basis: onshore and offshore wind, and solar Capture Price Indices in Germany and the UK; onshore wind and solar Capture Price Indices in France, Italy and Spain.

The weekly market commentary will be published every Tuesday, or the following business day if Tuesday is a holiday.

Platts Renewable Capture Price Indices track weighted average prices that renewable energy generators receive for the electricity they produce across a daily period, based on hourly generation and pricing data.
