Platts proposes to publish Japan Custom Cleared crude, LNG prices under full name

S&P Global Platts is proposing to publish its Japan Custom Cleared crude oil and LNG prices under their full names, effective Jan. 18, 2021.

Currently, these prices are published under the abbreviation "JCC." The change would clarify that Japan JCC crude oil prices (Symbols: AAKOP00, AAKOM00) and Japan JCC LNG prices (Symbols: LAKPN00, LAKPM0) reflect the Japan Custom Cleared average prices of crude oil and LNG imports published by the country's Ministry of Finance. These prices are published in Platts LNG Daily, as well as on the Platts Natural Gas Alert, Platts LNG Alert, and Platts Global Alert.
