Platts will launch eWindow for its European diesel, gasoil and jet CIF Northwest European cargoes assessment process and its Mediterranean diesel and gasoil cargoes assessment process on Thursday, October 31. In the new headline structure, the minimum volume being bid for will continue to be expressed in metric tons. The operational tolerance of the cargo and its pricing should be specified in a text box called terms, quality and conditions (TQCs). The TQCs will not be able to be modified after 15:44:59:99 London time, when the pricing period starts. This means that the operational tolerance of a cargo can only price as per the last differential used for the main volume or at a separate differential fixed at the start of the MOC process. Currently, market participants are able to move the pricing of the operational tolerance independently from the main cargo. Please send all comments by October 18, 2013, to europe_products@platts.com, with a cc to pricegroup@platts.com.
