Platts proposes to launch domestic China ex-tank ethylbenzene assessment Dec 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing the launch of a new daily domestic China ex-tank ethylbenzene, effective Dec. 1.

Details of the proposed ethylbenzene assessment are as follows:

Product specifications:

According to the latest issue of ASTM D-3193

Laycan: up to 10 days forward from date of assessment

Basis: Ex-tank major ports at North or East China, cash on sight

Currency: Yuan/mt

Quantity: 100-300 mt per lifting, in trucks

Other quantities may be considered and normalized to the above-mentioned lot size. All market information reported, including firm bids and offers, trades, and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant may be considered in the daily assessment process.
