Platts amends Worldscale flat rate baskets for Aframax Caribbean-USAC, Caribbean-to-UKC/Med routes from Oct. 3

Following a Worldscale Association update to St. Lucia (Caribbean Sundry Island), Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the Worldscale flat rate baskets used in $/mt calculations for the Aframax 70kt Caribbean-to-US Atlantic Coast and Caribbean-to-UK Continent/Mediterranean routes, effective Oct. 3, 2022.

With this amendment, the new average flat rates for the Aframax 70kt Caribbean-to-USAC, Caribbean-to-UKC and Caribbean-to-Mediterranean routes are $8.94/mt, $15.54/mt and $17.11/mt, respectively.

Clean tanker rates have not been affected by this change.
