Platts adds Augusta to ports reflected in FOB Med premium unleaded 10 ppm cargo assessment

S&P Global Platts has expanded the list of ports reflected in its Market on Close assessment process for FOB Mediterranean premium unleaded 10 ppm gasoline cargoes, effective Oct. 1, 2021, to include Augusta in Italy.

Platts understands that Augusta is an active export location for gasoline, connected to two large-capacity refineries.

The port is understood to be suitable to load Medium Range tankers and has a storage capacity of around 4 million cu m.

Italy: Falconara, Genoa, Milazzo, Santa Panagia Bay, Sarroch, Augusta

Malta: Malta

Morocco: Tangier Med

Spain: Barcelona, Castellon

The FOB Med premium unleaded gasoline cargo assessment is published in Platts European Marketscan, on Platts Global Alert page 1320, as well as in the Platts price database under the code AAWZA00.
