Platts confirms it will publish outright price and timespread assessments for ICE Brent crude futures and NYMEX WTI crude futures at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) effective October 1. Platts will add these assessments, which were first proposed on September 2, to enhance its coverage of the crude oil forward curve. The new suite of outright price assessments will cover 36 granular months, 12 quarters and three years forward from the date of publication for ICE Brent crude futures contracts, and four months for NYMEX WTI crude futures. Platts will also publish timespreads for all 36 granular months, 12 quarters and three years for ICE Brent crude, and for four months for NYMEX WTI crude. In addition, Platts will launch ICE Brent and NYMEX WTI crude futures spread assessments as of 4:30 pm Singapore time. The spread assessments will be published to incorporate four calendar months. Platts will maintain a rolling schedule in line with both the futures exchanges' expiry schedules. Platts currently publishes ICE Brent crude futures at 4:30 pm Singapore time two months out. The daily assessments will appear on Platts Global Alert pages 2691 (ICE Brent Futures and timespread), 2693 (NYMEX WTI Futures and timespread) and 2695 (WTI-Brent Futures Spreads).
