SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to extend Mean of Platts Japan naphtha swap assessments

Platts confirms it will extend its existing suite of Mean of Platts Japan naphtha swap assessments at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) with effect from October 1. Platts will add these assessments, which were first proposed on September 2, to enhance its coverage of the naphtha forward curve. The new price assessments will cover the 12 granular months, and three quarters forward from the date of publication. Platts currently publishes Mean of Platts Japan naphtha swaps assessments at 4:30 pm Singapore time two months out. Platts will also publish time-spread paper assessments for the 12 calendar months, and three quarters within this period, and crack-spread paper assessments between the MOPJ naphtha swap, and both Brent and Dubai swaps for all 12 months. Additionally, Platts will assess MOPJ/CIF North West Europe naphtha swap spreads at 4:30 pm Singapore time, with effect from October 1. The new price assessments will cover three calendar months forward from the date of publication. Platts will publish these assessments in US dollars/mt. The daily assessments will appear on Platts Global Alert pages 2650 (outrights), 2649 (time-spreads) and 2651 (east-west spreads).
