Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch weekly acrylic staple fiber spot price assessments on a DAP Turkey and CIF India basis, effective Nov. 14.

Price information for the material with other terms and specifications may be normalized.
The DAP Turkey and CIF India assessments would take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process on Thursdays at 16:30 London and Singapore time, respectively. Both assessments would also follow the London and India publishing calendar, respectively.
The new assessments would be accompanied by weekly commentaries, published on Thursday. The new assessments would be published in the Platts Fiber Marketscan and on Platts Connect.
