Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to launch weekly natural rubber Southeast Asia and Northwest Europe spot assessments, effective Nov. 1, 2024.
Platts would assess technically specified rubber 20 (TSR 20) on a free on board basis in Southeast Asia and a delivered, duty-paid basis in Northwest Europe.
The assessments would have the following parameters:
Basis and location | FOB Southeast Asia: Indonesia (Belawan, Surabaya), Malaysia (Port Klang, Penang), Thailand (Bangkok) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Mihn City). | DDP northwest Europe |

The TSR 20 includes Standard Malaysia Rubber (SMR 20), Standard Indonesian Rubber (SIR 20), Standard Thai Rubber (STR 20) and Standard Vietnam Rubber (SVR 20).
Market information for product with other specifications and non-standard terms may be considered for the assessment and may be subject to normalization to the standard specifications and terms.
The assessments would be published every Friday, following Singapore and UK publishing schedules respectively.
